Linux for Fun and Profit
I'm not entirely sure how I'll populate this area. My intention is just to put up Linux stuff I've developed. Whether any of it could remotely be called "fun" or "profitable" is open to interpretation.
Linux is fun. Windows sucks. I'm sure that Bill Gates put a "Lee Brotzman Proximity Fuse" into every version of Windows. My kids can sit there with ten different applications open, chatting, downloading, surfing, mailing, all at the same time. I open one Excel spreadsheet and the whole system crashes harder than the '29 stock market. Linux just does whatever I ask it to do. I guess it's the way you ask, kind of like dating a cheerleader.
Anyway, I've written a lot of Perl and shell code I'm willing to share, although most of it is not fit for general use. The code I use for everyday doesn't try to be useful for anything other than the specific purpose it's written for. I'll collect some and put it up here. You're welcome to use it, just don't say I didn't warn you if you need to edit it to make it work (and you will).
Sincerely,
Lee Brotzman
