Front Page Linux for Fun and Profit Linux Security

Linux Security

This page will hold my guide for Linux security for systems administrators. The first version of this book was printed by the SANS Institute, and I used the material to teach for their GIAC certification course. SANS and I parted company a couple years ago, and I've updated the material and converted it to XML to make it easier to transform into different formats. I have XSLT templates for generating an RTF document suitable for viewing in Microsoft Word (nasty, but at the time it was the easiest way to generate paper copies) and for generating HTML-based slides for my lectures. I'm working on an XSLT/CSS combo for publishing the book here under an open document license.

Stay tuned and the book will appear here shortly.

Sincerely,

Lee Brotzman
